CATL Kickstart Workshops

On Tuesday, August 23rd, the Center for Advancing Teaching & Learning will present workshops focused on practical recommendations to help faculty and instructors prepare for the academic year. Topics include managing the teaching workload, student motivation, collaborative learning, your syllabus, and the first day of class.  Faculty and instructors are invited to register online.

Each workshop will be about 40 minutes in length:

8:30      Five Ways to Improve Your Syllabus by Marjorie Bazluki & Khendum Gyabak
9:15      Five Strategies to Enhance the First Day of Class by Brian Udermann
10:00     Five Ways to Manage the Teaching Workload by Bryan Kopp
10:45     Five Ways to Support Student Motivation by Bill Cerbin
11:30     Five Techniques for Collaborative Learning by Deb Hoskins
