Silent Sky (by Lauren Gunderson)

Let one scientist’s quest take you beyond the stars.  At the dawn of modern astronomy, Henrietta Leavitt, a trailblazing astronomer who surmounted gender bias and other obstacles, became a pioneering force in mapping the cosmos. A true story of discovery, Silent Sky invites you to revel in the magic of the universe on this historic journey of love, family, science and determination.
