Canoeing: Flambeau Flowage

Spend a weekend canoeing and enjoying the pristine section of the Turtle-Flambeau Scenic Waters Area of Northern Wisconsin!

Early Friday afternoon we will drive up to the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage and start our canoe adventure. We will then canoe a few miles to one of the 66 remote campsites located throughout the Turtle-Flambeau. This campground will become our basecamp for the next two nights as we spend all day Saturday and part of Sunday viewing wildlife, exploring, backcountry cooking, relaxing, bird watching, and maybe even some fishing! Spend your nights sleeping under the stars and falling asleep to the beautiful sound of loons calling each other.

Once we've had our share of fun on Sunday we will then head back to the boat landing and start the drive back to La Crosse, arriving there later that evening. Prepare to make lasting memories on this weekend expedition to the Turtle-Flambeau Scenic Waters Area!

Price: $120 for students.
