New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation (NSO) & Welcome Week occur at the start of the fall semester and are designed to provide the experiences and information for a  successful transition to UWL.  

New Student Orientation (September 1/2- 4, 2017) is for all new students to UWL and offers a variety of programs, services, activities, and fun events designed to welcome and introduce students to all of the engagement opportunities at UWL .  All new first-year students are included into an Eagle Group, which is led by an Eagle Guide who is an experienced UWL student leader.    New students will be "guided" through their first few days on campus by our student "experts".  Transfer students have the option of participating in a Transfer Eagle Group or attending a one-time information session.
 
Through New Student Orientation, there are plenty of opportunities to meet other new and returning students, find out ways to get involved, and prepare for the academic year.
