Public Talk - Strategies to Make Walking & Bicycling Routine: Examples from Leading Communities

Robert Schneider is an Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with practical and research experience in the fields of pedestrian and bicycle planning, travel behavior and the built environment, and sustainable transportation policy. Prior to joining UW-Milwaukee, Dr. Schneider worked for Toole Design Group, LLC, assisting with pedestrian and bicycle planning projects in communities such as Washington, DC, Rockville, MD, Alexandria, VA, Greensboro, NC, and Seattle, WA.

Refreshments will be provided from 3:30-4:00 pm in Centennial's Hall of Nations (room 1300).
