Visiting Artist: Kevin Lips

Open to faculty, students and community members. Kevin Lips will be providing an artist talk.

Kevin Lips is a traditionally trained wood fired ceramicist and mixed media artist who has been based out of New York City for the past 14 years. He periodically lives and works near the historic ceramic village of La Borne, France.  Along with creating and exhibiting his work internationally Kevin was the recent recipient of the 2015 Jerome Foundation Emerging Artist Grant. This year he will be teaching at the Penland School of Craft and is an Invited Artist at the Woodfire NC conference in Star, NC.
