Computer Science distinguished lecture series: Shafi Goldwasser

The UWL Computer Science Department is hosting RSA Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Safi Goldwass. Goldwass will lead a Technical Symposium on New Pseudo-deterministic Algorithms at 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, in 1300 Centennial Hall. Goldwass will also present her keynote, "The Cyptographic Lens" at 5 p.m. Monday, April 3, in 1300 Centennial Hall. Check in and refreshments 30 minutes before each lecture. All Events are free and open to the public. 

Shafi Goldwasser, Ph.D. is the RSA Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. She is also a professor of computer science and applied mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Goldwasser received a B.S. degree in applied mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1979, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1984.
