Tibet Burning: Jigme Ugen - Presentaiton & Discussion

Please join us for FREE and OPEN to the public keynote presentaiton and discussion with Jigme Ugen. Jigme Ugen is the President of the Tibetan National Congress and dedicated Tibetan activist. There will be a reception to follow the presentation and discussion in 1300 - Hall of Nations, Centennial Hall. 

Over 150 Tibetans have self-immolated for freedom. This presentation will focus on the underlying causes of this unprecedented wave of self-immolation, provide more insight into how the Tibetan resistance is evolving, and how your actions can contribute in Tibet's movement for freedom. *Self-Immolation = offering up oneself for a sacrifice by burning their body.
