Advising Day - Dept of Modern Languages

The Department of Modern Languages invites you to the Spring 2017 Advising Day. Language classes will not be held during the advising session (9:00am - 3:00pm).

Students are expected to take care of their advising needs on this day. Majors are locked from registering until attending this event.

 The following will be available to students throughout the Advising Day:
 - General Advising: for students in language classes

- Advising for Majors & Minors: including Majors with Business Concentration, Education (Spanish, French and German), Certificate Programs (French, Russian), TESOL Minors, and Spanish for the Health Professions.

- Study Abroad / Study Tours / International Internships:

    • meet with staff from the Office of International Education / Study Abroad
    • talk to your peers who have studied abroad about their experiences
    • complete the Study Abroad Academic Plan Form with program-specific faculty

 - Summer & Fall 2017 Course Offerings

 

3:00-4:00pm – Union 3135 Language Teacher Education Programs

Interested in teaching Spanish, French, German, or TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages)? Please come to this informational session on the Language Teacher Education programs available at UWL. Please join us if you are already a language teacher education major or if you are interested in the possibility of majoring in language teacher education. All are welcome!
