The Theory of Relativity (musical)

The UW-La Crosse Department of Theatre Arts proudly announces its SummerStage production, The Theory of Relativity, an exuberant new musical which adapts the true stories of thirteen young adults as they float in and out of relationships, navigate friendships, and struggle to find acceptance on the rocky path to adulthood.

With music and lyrics by Neil Bartram and book by Brian Hill, The Theory of Relativity will play at 7:30 p.m. June 23-24 and June 29-July 1 with matinee performances at 2:00 p.m. on June 25 and July 2 in Toland Theatre in the Center for the Arts at 16th and Vine streets.

The Theory of Relativity is a joyous and moving look about our surprisingly interconnected lives. Through a seemingly unrelated collection of songs, scenes and monologues, The Theory of Relativity introduces a compelling array of characters experiencing the joys and heartbreaks, the liaisons and losses, the inevitability and the wonder of human connection.  Whether you're allergic to cats, in love for the first or tenth time, a child of divorce, a germaphobe or simply a unique individual, you’ll find yourself within this fresh new musical.

Tickets go on sale at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 19.  Box office hours are 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before show times. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for senior/non UWL students and $12 for UWL students; call (608) 785-8522.
