About the Program:
J. Danée Sergeant is a survivor of trauma, homelessness, and polysubstance abuse disorder who lives with Bipolar disorder. Since getting the help they needed to address their mental health issues, Danée now empowers others to speak up, embrace who they are, and seek the help they need so that they can survive and thrive in college and beyond. The Active Minds Speakers Bureau is a signature program of Active Minds, Inc. It has reached over a million young adults from across the country and promises measurable impact on our audiences. Our trained speakers educate, entertain, and inspire audiences through compelling mental health presentations and personal storytelling. Each speaker's story is unique and sheds light on a range of topics related to mental health.
