Neuroscience and the Self - Bill Robinson

What kinds of events in our brains cause our conscious experiences? How do we manage to know what is in the world around us, and what actions are likely to be successful? What implications does neuroscience have for our view of ourselves as responsible for what we do?

Bill Robinson (Emeritus Iowa State University) hopes to clarify these questions and to encourage interest in neuroscientific investigations that are relevant to resolving them.
