Swing into Spring, UWL Jazz Big Bands Concert

The UWL Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble will perform a joint concert of classic big band pieces, Latin-jazz, jazz-funk and contemporary compositions. Among the composers featured in the concert are Duke Ellington, Fred Sturm and Bob Mintzer. Each group also features a vocalist who will song a number of songs, including big band arrangements written for the great jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald.

The event is free and open to the public!
