A Photographic History of the La Crosse River Marsh presented by Richard Frost

The La Crosse River Marsh has been called “The Finest Urban Wetland in Wisconsin.” It occupies a unique location in the middle of our city, separating north and south La Crosse. Because of its location, it has been a prime target for development. This presentation will show the history of the marsh, the many proposals for its development, and a view to its future.

When: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15
Where: 1400 Centennial Hall
To request disability accommodations (accessible seating, interpreting, closed captioning, FM systems, etc.), contact Mary Conrad at mconrad@uwlax.edu or 608.785.8424.
