A Photographic History of the La Crosse River Marsh presented by Richard Frost

The La Crosse River Marsh has been called “The Finest Urban Wetland in Wisconsin.” It occupies a unique location in the middle of our city, separating north and south La Crosse. Because of its location, it has been a prime target for development. This presentation will show the history of the marsh, the many proposals for its development, and a view to its future.
