The College of Liberal Studies and Diversity and Inclusion Division are co-sponsoring a presentation by Dr. Alex Madva on "Implicit Bias in Higher Education".  This interactive session will explore the social, cultural and psychological origins of intergroup biases, and the most problematic effects such biases can have on students, faculty, staff, and administrators in higher education.  Dr. Madva will explore strategies that individuals and educational institutions can employ to combat racism, stereotyping and discrimination.  This event is free and open to the university community.
