Active Minds Out of the Darkness Walk

Sponsored by UWL Active Minds, a mental health advocacy club

 

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people aged 15-24. The Out of the Darkness walk promotes suicide awareness and prevention. The proceeds from this event will go toward the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in an effort to prevent suicide and change the conversation about mental health.
