Legislative forum:

Area legislators to discuss state budget March 8

Area legislators will discuss the state budget during a campus forum from 2-3:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, in 3314, Student Union. The event is free and open to all. Legislators invited to the forum include: Sen. Jennifer Shilling, Rep. Steve Doyle, Rep. Loren Oldenburg, Rep. Jill Billings and Rep. Nancy VanderMeer.

The event is sponsored by UWL’s Joint Legislative/Regents Committee. Other campus co-sponsors include: Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Faculty Senate, Academic Staff Council, University Staff Council, and Student Association.
