Interim Secretary of DATCP, Randy Romanski

Randy Romanski, Interim Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), will discuss the policy process, including development, implementation and politics, using Wisconsin's hemp production program as an example.  Romanski has over 30 years of government service, including as DATCP's deputy secretary and secretary under Governor Jim Doyle, working on issues such as farmland preservation, local foods, Farm to School, and renewable energy. Romanski has also served as the executive assistant for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Wisconsin Department of Transportation. He has also served as a policy analyst for the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
